Jeanette Despatie

Jeanette Despatie is currently the President and CEO of Cornwall Community Hospital, an acute care facility operating in the city of Cornwall. She has more than 28 years of combined acute, rehabilitation, mental health and long-term healthcare management experience.

Jeanette’s professional affiliations include the Children’s Treatment Centre (founding Board Member); the Ontario Association of Non Profit Homes and Services for Seniors (Board Member from 1992-1995); St. Lawrence College (Board Member/Vice Chairperson from 2001-2007); the Children’s Aid Society of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (Board Member from 2008-present and Board Chair from 2013-present); the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (Board Member from 2013-2015); the OHA Advisory Group on Physician-Assisted Death (member from 2015- present); the OHA Physician Provincial Leadership Council (member from 2015-present);  HSFR Communication, Education/Knowledge Translations Sub-Group (member from 2016-present).

Jeanette has a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours degree from Queen’s University and an Executive Leadership certification from Queen’s University and McGill University.

Jeanette Despatie was elected to the Board of the OHA in November 2014.
